DSF is the National Organization officially representing the WDO in the United States of America.
To register with the WDO through the WDO-appointed USA National Organization, an applicant must have a valid DSF membership. The diverse DSF memberships allow members to compete, adjudicate, and/or organize DSF national events and world-ranking events granted by the WDO to the DSF.
All memberships are annual and expire on December 31st.
COMPETITORS
A WDO competitor’s membership allows competitors to participate in worldwide WDO competitive events, including WDO World Title and WDO Ranking events.
To participate in events hosted by the DSF and granted to the DSF by the WDO, competitors from the United States must be valid members of DSF, the National Organization officially representing the WDO in the United States of America. DSF will register new WDO competitor memberships with the World Dance Organization. WDO membership cards and renewal forms will be available on the WDO official website after initial registration.
WDO registration is open to Juveniles, Juniors, Youth, Amateur, Seniors, Professional, Student/Teacher, and Amateur/Professional partnerships.
ADJUDICATORS
A WDO adjudicator membership allows adjudicators to judge worldwide WDO events, including WDO World Title and WDO Ranking events.
To adjudicate events hosted by the DSF and granted to the DSF by the WDO, an applicant must have a valid adjudicator’s membership under DSF, the National Organization officially representing the WDO in the United States of America.
A DSF adjudicator’s license allows the adjudication of DSF National Championships, DSF Ranking Events, and DSF Sanctioned Events.
ORGANIZERS
DSF is the National Organization officially representing the WDO in the United States of America.
We invite all dance competition organizers to join DSF and register their existing competitions as DSF Sanctioned and/or WDO Recognized Competitions.
Organizers can also apply for new DSF competition titles as well as for WDO World Title and Ranking Ranking Competitions to be held in the United States of America as a part of the DSF, the WDO National Organization of the USA.
ORGANIZATIONS & AFFILIATES
DSF organization memberships are for entities who would like to be affiliated with the DSF in the shared vision of the WDO’s initiatives.
Best applied for dance clubs, studios, schools, and colleges.
SUPPORTERS
DSF supporter memberships are for anyone who supports the WDO and its movement in the United States of America.
Best applied for parents, social dancers, fans, and donors.
